The Terry Parker High School boys basketball program is anxious and ready to begin its 2008-2009 school year. This years schedule consists of many basketball powerhouses like Fletcher high school, Fleming Island high school, first coast high school, and Wolfson high school. Yet, the only thing holding back the Braves from being in this elite group is its defense.
Last year, Terry Parker was one of the anticipated teams to see. People thought that they were going to have a good run in the playoffs and off to the championship game. But their dreams were shattered early due to lack of passion, committment, and heart. Some way or somehow is the answer for this year, meaning, the Terry Parker Braves might be in trouble.
Two varsity players are returning and there are alot of inexperienced junior varsity members being moved up. The only thing that can be said is good luck to the new team this year, because they have to play teams this year like this; Robert E. Lee high school, Edward H. White high school, Englewood high school, Bartram Trail high school, Fleming Island high school, FirstCoast high school, Wolfson high school, and Forrest high school.

You need to make your articles smaller and to the point. Also, watch capitalization. You need to interview some players or coaches.

First off, watch your capitalization. You also need to mention who the 2 returning players are and tell us just how weak the defence is and why. I also think that adding an interview with one of the basketball coaches would fit well in this article, so please do so. Other than that, well done.
I really like how you told us many of the opposing teams the B ball team will be facing, but didnt just give us the T.P boys basketball schedule, all i can say is that an interview from player or coach may improve it.

the school are kind of repeatative but is there anything else you going to write about?
Maybe you can talk to the coach and ask them what they're going to do to motivate the team to work harder and have more passion for the game so they can get to the championships.
People have already said something about your spelling and capitalization, so I'll just say this is good and I like how it focuses on making our school better and influences the team to dedicate themselves. :)
i think its a good article. only thing i could say is maybe an interview on what the players expect for this upcoming season?
